REBECCA

Jersey native Rebecca Pirouet is one half of the sister team behind Sorella, and began her hairdressing career working in her mother’s salon in her teens. After travelling, she followed in her sisters footsteps and trained formally as a stylist qualifying in just 1 year then went onto win the Jersey Hair Council competition in 2007. By 2010 the sisters purchased the salon and have worked hard to create a home grown team of creative and talented stylists. With a real passion for the science behind styling and colouring, Rebecca qualified to Level 3 and trained as an NVQ assessor and teacher. As well as working in the salon she lectures hairdressing at Highlands College. Combining the two roles gives her the best of both worlds: training the next generation of stylists, while still being able to work directly with clients. It gives her the opportunity to help students whilst developing herself ensuring her hairdressing knowledge is always fresh!
