RACHEL

Rachel Barette is the other sister belonging to the Sorella partnership, and worked alongside Rebecca in her mother’s salon as a teenager. Although the younger sister Rachel began formal training first and qualified as a hair stylist in just 9 months! She wowed industry peers with her Avant Garde and Creative Cutting skills and was overall winner of the Jersey Hair Council competition in 2004. Rachel continued her education to a Level 3 NVQ in Hairdressing and then took her skills to the southern hemisphere where she worked at the award winning GW Private Room, Brisbane Australia. She returned to the island in 2010 to take up the helm with Rebecca.

 

Although Rachel enjoys all aspects of hairdressing she loves doing a short restyle showcasing her creative free hand cutting and

razor techniques.
